Our Story

Central Otago Built

Drain Vision was founded in 2018 by Cole Lucas, a Central Otago local who saw an opportunity to bring the most advanced CCTV and drain clearing technology to a region that was underserved by specialist equipment.

From the beginning, the focus has been on doing the job right — with the best gear, properly trained operators, and documentation that actually stands up to engineer and council scrutiny.

Today, Drain Vision operates across Central Otago and the Queenstown Lakes district, working primarily as a subcontractor to principal contractors, councils and civil engineers — as well as direct to residential and commercial property owners.

Drain Vision runs a small, focused team. Cole Lucas leads all operations as director and operator. You will always deal with the same small, experienced team — no subcontractors, no strangers on site.

Our operators hold current confined space, H&S, and equipment certifications — maintained and up to date. We don't cut corners on compliance, because our clients' safety and ours depends on it.
